My approach combines structured thinking with a healthy dose of curiosity, shaped by years of partnering with causes navigating change.
Through my independent practice, I partner with advocacy groups, philanthropic institutions, and mission-driven companies on a select number of high-impact projects each year. I serve as a cross-functional partner, connecting mission, narrative, product, policy, and operations to help teams collaborate more effectively and move forward with clarity.
Recent work includes supporting a national legal nonprofit through rapid growth, leading digital transformation for a cultural institution during the pandemic, and helping public-interest teams inside technology companies align their policy and product decisions with social impact goals.
I’m drawn to complexity, but not for its own sake.
I like unpacking how things work, finding the signal in the noise, and building something useful from the inside out. I’m most at home in environments where people are figuring things out – where the mission matters, but the path isn’t quite clear yet.
That often means stepping into moments of uncertainty: leadership transitions, new initiatives, sudden scale, or external pressure to evolve. I work alongside teams to bring order, not control – to help them see what’s essential, avoid the noise, and build systems that hold up under real-world conditions. I believe in clarity over complexity, progress over performance, and that strategy only matters if it gets built into something real.
I have a low tolerance for posturing and a high regard for things that actually work.
Planning the next campaign or fixing something around the house requires the same approach: curiosity, pragmatism, and a willingness to keep tinkering until it clicks.
Outside of work, this approach is applied to valiant efforts at triathlon, photography, and getting lost in the woods.
I hold degrees from the London School of Economics and American University. I split my time between San Francisco and New York, collaborating with teams across North America and Europe.
